Opening hours

Breakfast buffet (table reservation required):

Monday – Friday from 06:30 AM – 10:00 AM

Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 07:30 AM – 10:00 AM

À la carte restaurant: 

Monday – Saturday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM 

• Last table reservation at 6:30 PM, after which the kitchen closes

• Takeaway must be collected by 6:00 PM, cake to go must be collected by 5:00 PM

• Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement

On days where we serve a buffet, the à la carte kitchen closes at 5:00 PM

CHRISTMAS 2026 and NEW YEAR’S 2026/2027:

Inn/restaurant: Closed from Tuesday December 22nd 2026 up to and including Thursday January 14th 2027

Hotel Egely: Overnight stays throughout Christmas and New Year’s is possible, but  there will be no breakfast buffet or room service from December 23rd up to and including December 26th, as well as from December 31st 2026 up to and including January 11th 2027

Celebrations: 

You can book your next party or festive gathering on any day of the week. For private events on Sundays and Mondays, the minimum booking MUST be for 25 people. However, please feel free to call and enquire, as we may already have an event booked on those days. Please note that the restaurant will not be open for à la carte dining on these days! 

Private evening events must finish by midnight (12:00 AM) on Fridays and Saturdays.

Check-in for Hotel Egely: 

takes place at Den Gamle Kro between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. If you plan to arrive after 6:00 PM, this MUST be stated when making your booking!
